Community of the Southern Cross

At a beautiful and symbolic Eucharistic Celebration of Thanksgiving and Missioning held in Sydney on 14 September 2026, the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary made the transition from Region of the Southern Cross to Community of the Southern Cross in direct relationship with the Congregational Leader.

This change covers the three countries under the protection of the Southern Cross: Australia, Aotearoa/New Zealand and Tonga.

The new structure will provide ongoing, sustainable support and stewardship for the LCM Community of the Southern Cross.
