Relent not in your prayers, draw from God the gift of His Holy Spirit, that marvellous grace which, in a moment changes the most loathesome soul into one so beautiful that, if it dies in that state, God will pronounce it blessed.
1888 - The Foundation stone for the first wing of the hospital dedicated to the Holy Child was blessed and laid at Lewisham, Sydney. It was renamed Lewisham Hospital in 1899
